Event Description:

The government will be re-implementing the provincial sales tax (PST) effective April 1, 2013. To better understand what this means for you and your business, the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a PST Seminar presented by the Ministry of Finance on February 28, 2013.

The presentation will be provided by provincial sales tax specialists. The specialists have been with the ministry for several years and have experience in assisting taxpayers in preparing to transition to the new PST.  The presenters will answer general questions on the PST application and provide sources of information regarding the new PST Legislation, notices and bulletins.  Tax specialists are up to date with the most current publicly available information and can provide feedback on queries based on the available information.

**Please note. As of January 1, 2013,  a $10 no-show fee will be charged to members who register for free events and then do not attend. Space is limited at events and we require accurate numbers to determine seating, food, beverages, etc. 48 hours is required for all cancellations, fee is also applied to last minute registrants who fail to call/show.
