The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce applauds the Mayors' Council for coming together and endorsing a common vision for transportation in the Metro Vancouver region.  As an organization representing business, the Chamber looks forward to working with the Mayors to ensure that this vision reflects the concerns of businesses throughout the Lower Mainland.

"We believe it is critical that the Mayors share this vision with their communities, start a discussion around the challenge of funding and solidify funding solutions with the Province. This vision directly impacts the public and business, providing a framework for the future of transit and transportation in the Lower Mainland." - Michael Hind, Executive Director, Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce

The Tri-Cities Chamber encourages a partnership between the Mayors and the Province in bringing the vision forward, championing this project to improve transportation and transit infrastructure in the Lower Mainland.  We look forward to continued discussion on the details surrounding this vision and offer our support to the Mayors’ Council in order to bring an enhanced plan to fruition.
