The Coquitlam Express are preparing for our 4th Annual Score For Cancer Game on Saturday, December 20 at 7:00 PM — a night dedicated to honouring the patients, families, and frontline caregivers in our community who continue to face cancer with courage.

For this game, I’m asking if you would help by purchasing group tickets that will be donated directly to our community’s cancer support networks, long-term care residents, and individuals receiving specialized medical treatment. You may choose the organization yourself, or the Express can make the donation on your behalf. Cost is $150 for 10 tickets, with a devoted section set aside, plus PA recognition.

Every group ticket you purchase becomes more than a seat in the arena — it becomes a night of joy for someone who rarely gets one. For many of the residents we serve, attending this game is not just a special outing; it’s a moment of belonging, celebration, and human connection during a difficult journey.

I will take care of all arrangements and provide simple options to make the process seamless.

A small note of appreciation: Gordon Drywall and Painting has already stepped forward and donated two Vancouver Canucks Lower Bowl (Row 4) tickets as our frisbee toss prize for the January 29, 2026 game against Anaheim — a gesture that sets a meaningful tone for the year ahead.
