Experienced Line Cook
REPORTS TO: Manager on Duty, Kitchen Supervisor
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: To prepare all orders correctly, efficiently and timely and to ensure that it is served at appropriate temperature.
We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the exact specifications and to set up stations for menu. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. What we are looking for from you: • Ability to follow recipes and presentation specifications • Ensure product quality and freshness of ingredients. • Have an understanding of cooking methods/procedures and knife handling skills • Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment • Must be organized and self-motivated • Ensure a well-stocked work station and meet prep times to ensure a smooth working shift • Maintain a clean work station area, including kitchen equipment, tables and shelves • Comply with applicable sanitary, health and personal hygiene standards • Must be able to stand, bend, stretch, and lift and carry heavy material • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line supervisor, KM or GM
