Edward Jones is a full-service wealth management firm, offering our clients comprehensive financial planning, including wealth accumulation, protection and estate and tax considerations. 

People who know me well tell me I'm genuine, caring and they can count on me to go the extra mile. I’m also known for being forthright and letting my aging dogs lick my face. When I'm not optimizing my client’s retirement plans, you'll find me walking my dogs, playing Uber driver to my daughters, or squeezing in a run or walk up the Coquitlam Crunch.

I’m not one to shy away from a challenge. I knew that this career path wouldn't be easy, but I wholeheartedly know it is worth it. When I was 35, I jumped out of a plane so I could prove to myself that I could overcome my fear of heights. The desire to challenge myself has led to my ongoing pursuit of knowledge, which seeps into everything I do for my clients.

I started my career in finance as an Accountant and spent over 16 years of that 25-year career in the management of pension plans. Throughout these years, the critical importance of saving and planning for retirement was revealed to me time and time again.

Fast forward to today, fewer and fewer people have an actual pension to rely on. For so many years, I had a front row seat to the devastation people faced when they hadn’t planned properly for what could have been their most rewarding years.

Eventually, I couldn't ignore the truth that I could be more impactful by working directly with people as a trusted advisor. Shifting careers to being a personal financial advisor was a big change, yet it feels like I'm finally living my purpose.

Between my years of experience and my competitive, empathetic and thoughtful nature, my services extend far beyond managing investments. Taking all aspects of my client’s needs into account, including tax and estate considerations, it is about building a comprehensive plan that brings my client's goals into sight.

My clients tell me they appreciate my hands-on approach and my ability to listen and communicate in a way that makes them feel heard. I listen to what is important to them and build their plan around their unique circumstances and goals.
