Art 4 Life Opening Reception Saturday September 28, 2019 | 1-3pm An exhibition of artwork at the Port Moody Arts Centre geared toward a young audience, promoting artistic learning experiences and creative exploration. Art 4 Life is an four-week exhibition and series of events centered around art and the endless possibilities of creative discovery. This exhibition brings together a variety of different art forms and disciplines, creating an expansive exploration of art that encourages curiosity and imagination. This year, Art 4 Life will be on display during our Culture Days Activities, tying together the importance of art in a community, and the value of artistic education for youth. This exhibition is geared toward the young and the young at heart to generate cultural awareness, active participation and discussion, and cultivate artistic growth in our community. The benefits of an arts education affect every area of life and we want it to be a lifelong journey.
