Join Textile Artist Margot Calvert as she shares the unique style of three-dimensional Brazilian Embroidery. Our Exhibit Heirlooms & Treasures celebrates skills handed down and shared through generations, Brazilian Embroidery is created with rayon thread and gained popularity in Brazil in the 1960’s before spreading to other parts of the embroidery community worldwide. Look at samples of beautiful embroidery projects and learn some stitches while making a small sample to keep. Beginners welcome. Refreshments included. Registration Required. $30 per person. (16+)
