Coquitlam Public Library is hosting the Canada 150 Mosaic Community Art Project on October 20 and 21. You, your family and friends are invited to participate by painting a 4” x 4” tile that will become part of an 12’ x 8’ mosaic celebrating Coquitlam’s history. The project’s artist will provide a short training session at the beginning of the hour, and guidance as needed. The approximately 500 painted tiles will become part of a large mosaic mural that celebrates the past and present of industry in Coquitlam. It will also be part of a gigantic virtual mural composed of 150 murals from 150 communities throughout Canada.
