Celebrate BC Festival – Featuring B.C.’s Largest Salmon Barbecue

Join us for the inaugural Celebrate BC Festival on Monday, August 4 at Town Centre Park in Coquitlam! This free, all-ages event will feature B.C.’s largest salmon barbecue, hosted by the Kwikwetlem First Nation and prepared by top B.C. chefs with 2,000 pounds of wild salmon!

Enjoy a full day of live music, including a headline performance by Juno Award winner George Leach, a BC Wine Garden, Indigenous fashion show by Vancouver Indigenous Fashion Week, zipline adventures, multicultural performances, food, art, storytelling, and much more.

Hosted by S.U.C.C.E.S.S. in partnership with the City of Coquitlam and Kwikwetlem First Nation, the event celebrates the cultural richness of British Columbia.

Community groups are also invited to host a booth to connect with festival visitors — share your message, recruit volunteers, or celebrate your culture!
