Join us on September 26 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in person at the Coquitlam Public Library or online via Zoom for an evening of conversation around the current challenges and ideas to adrress systemic racism in B.C. The Tri-Cities Local Immigration Partnership is hosting a community conversation on a new Anti-Racism Legislation that will be released by the provincial government in the Spring of 2024.
The Province of British Columbia is introducing this new legislation to develop broader anti-racism legislation that builds on the Anti-Racism Data Act (ARDA), which became law in June 2022. This legislation will address the broader challenges of systemic racism, inequity and discrimination within B.C.
This legislation is key is to ensure support is provided to community members who have been and might be negatively and adversely impacted by systemic racism.

All Tri-Cities residents are invited to join the conversation on September 26th. You do not need to be allowed to vote in Canada to participate in this consultation.
