The Event

 

On October 4, 2015, the Coquitam Firefighters Charitable Society (CFFCS) is teaming up with Scotiabank and many other community partners to host the "2nd Annual Pink Pancake Breakfast" at the Town Centre Fire Hall in Coquitlam.

 

The event is by donation (minimum $5 would be appreciated), and money raised will go directly to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Scotiabank will be matching all funds collected from this event so each donation is worth double.

 

Coquitlam Fire/Rescue is opening their doors to the public from 8:00am-12:00pm. Town Centre Fire Hall is located at 1300 Pinetree Way on the north side of the fire hall. Be sure to come check out our pink fire truck!

 

Free Parking is available in the north parking lot of Pinetree Secondary School, entrance off Pinewood Ave.

 

Background

 

This event was whipped up in 2014 o support one of our very own members who has recently battled and overcome breast cancer. We are please that she has been succesful in her battle and has resumed her duties. There are other loved ones belogning to our firefighters community who's lives have also been affected by breast cancer. Coquitlam Firefighters are a family, and we will fight breast cancer like we fight fire - with everything we've got and as a team. We hope our community family will join us by coming out and having breakfast with us!
