Maintaining Mental Wellness

Presented by:  Yasaman Madanikia, Expressions Counselling

In midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, many people are struggling with their mental health. Adults are now feeling more anxious and isolated than ever, having to take care of their children or elderly family members without any support. Therefore, in this presentation, we will go over healthy anxiety and grief versus obsessive worrying and depression. We will talk about various healthy coping tools that could be put in place in order to build resilience and mental wellbeing. We will emphasize on the importance of practicing self-care and creating routines. We will end with discussing how to manage your children's feeling in these challenging times.
