During 2016, while recording his CD Following the Sun, this long-time folk musician and singer-songwriter collaborated with several outstanding Victoria based musicians who added a distinctive, often more classical, flavour to the music, characterized perhaps as Chamber Folk. Enjoy an evening of David’s clear tenor vocals, and evocative finger style guitar, enriched by Moritz Behm on violin & mandolin, Michelle Carlisle (of Blackthorn) on piccolo & harmony vocals and Wynn Gogol on piano, bass & accordion. They will take you on a musical journey to places near and far, familiar and exotic, comfortable and daunting as together we will be Following the Sun, which is the title of David’s newly released CD.
