June 19 and July 3
PORT COQUITLAM, B.C. — The Downtown Port Coquitlam BIA is bringing Downtown PoCo Friday Nights back to Leigh Square with two free, all-ages events on Friday, June 19 and Friday, July 3 from 4:00 to 9:00pm.
Now in its second year, the summer series will once again bring Downtown Port Coquitlam to life with live music, DJs, roaming performances, family-friendly activities, pop-up bars, local vendors, fountain shows and more. There will be a new outdoor lounge area for attendees to connect with their community, courtesy of Connection Sponsor BCLC. The events offer a relaxed, welcoming environment for people of all ages to gather, shop at local downtown businesses and enjoy a summer evening at Leigh Square.
“This event continues to grow as a true community favourite,” said Jesse Bannister, Executive Director of Downtown PoCo BIA. “Friday Nights at Leigh Square is about offering free, accessible events where people can come together, enjoy summer in Downtown PoCo, and grab a Friday night bite at local businesses at the same time.”
With programming spanning local musicians, magic, juggling, bubble shows, DJs and kids dance parties, each Friday Night event showcases a full evening of entertainment.
