This group exhibition brings together projects by a range of artists who all deal in some way with notions of invisible or hidden labour: that is, work that is not seen, valued, or adequately paid. From domestic or care work, to digital and tech labour that is increasingly performed in the home as piece work, to the hidden labour that is inherent in the art world itself, all the artwork in this exhibition draws attention to labour that, although often overlooked or ignored, is nevertheless essential—work that is fundamentally Something More than Nothing.Organized by The Reach Gallery Museum, Abbotsford and curated by Adrienne Fast, Curator of Art and Visual Culture.
