Please join the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce for a workshop, created by the Tri-Cities Homelessness & Housing Task Group. Our special guest speakers include:- Sandy Burpee, past chair, Tri-Cities Homelessness & Housing Task Group
- Bruce Conlan, residential mental health and addictions worker with lived experience of the street
- Cst. Jen Barker, RCMP Community Response Team
- insight into homelessness
- resources available to homeless persons in the Tri-Cities
- how to respond to problematic behaviour
- information regarding legislation, which applies to panhandling and trespassing
- how to safely dispose of sharps
- when to call for help
