Join the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce,
in recognizing and celebrating International Women's Day. This unique event will applaud the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women! Gender parity is an important social and economic issue for us all. We invite both men and women to celebrate and acknowledge the journey. 

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Rachel Lewis
Chief Operating Officer
Vancouver Whitecaps FC

A leader in her industry, Rachel has been in the field of sport and event management for more than a decade. Her career has included stops as tournament director with the PGA Tour's Air Canada Championship, and as project manager for BMO Financial Group's sponsorship of the Canadian Women's Open. In 2003 she joined the Whitecaps FC as director of event management and stadium development, and in 2007 she assumed her current role as COO. Today, Lewis is the only female C-suite executive on any of Vancouver's professional sports teams, and the only female Chief Business Officer in MLS. Her work has seen her honoured as one of the Most Influential Women of 2015 by CAWS, a Game Changer as one of the Most Influential Women in Sports by the Sports Business Journal, and one of BC's 100 Women of Influence by the Vancouver Sun in 2011.
