CHAHAR SHANBE SURI

The Iranian Society of Tri-City, in line with honoring our ancestors' traditions and the rich Persian culture, and aiming to better introduce Nowruz traditions to the Canadian community and the younger Iranian generation, as well as to support and promote Iranian businesses, intends to hold an engaging and joyous celebration for the last Wednesday of the year (Chaharshanbe Suri) accompanied by a lively fire festival. The event will feature the presence of artists, musicians, singers, dance groups, and music performances.

Time: 5-9pm
Official Ceremony: 6:45pm - 7:15pm
Location: Coquitlam Town Centre Park (Lafarge Lake) TD Plaza 

Event Details:
The program begins officially at 17:00 and ends at 21:00. It encompasses four hours filled with performances by various renowned artistic groups, musicians, singers, and dancers. Additionally, an experienced and skilled DJ will be present throughout the program. During the event, there will be fire performances, competitions, raffles, awardceremonies for winners, poetry recitals, and more. A designated area in the parking lot will be allocated for the sale and serving of various food and beverages to the participants.

Considering the joyful and diverse program offerings and drawing from experiences of previous years, we anticipate the attendance of at least 10,000 compatriots in the program.
