KIÉRAH

Kiérah is one of Canada’s most impressive and versatile Celtic fiddle performers. Alongside her 13 years of classical training, Kiérah studied various styles of Celtic fiddle music from Ireland, Scotland and Cape Breton. At 18 years old she earned a Canadian Folk Music Award for her album “STONEMASON’S DAUGHTER” while her latest album “SRONG BOW” earned her nominations by the Toronto Independent Music Awards and the Australian Celtic Music Awards for International Artist. Recently featured in Irish Music Magazine, Living Tradition Magazine, Celtic Life Magazine, RTE national website and on international radio stations, “STRONG BOW” is receiving rave reviews.

As a powerhouse performer, Kiérah promises “A Night of Celtic Music” to be a very dynamic performance of traditional and original music. Accompanying her are 2 outstanding B.C. musicians – innovative guitarist Adam Dobres of the “Wailin’ Jenny’s” and the “Ruth Moody Band”,  and Vancouver Island’s most sought after pianist, Geoff Horrocks.

Pre-show Artist: Adrian Chalifour

Victoria, BC-based singer-songwriter Adrian Chalifour has been performing heart-driven original music for more than 15 years, most notably as the founder and charismatic frontman of Towers and Trees, a solo home-recording project that grew into one of BC’s most notable indie bands. With T&T his songs have charted on Canadian radio and he has toured the country extensively, performing at festivals like Canadian Music Week, Indie Week, Breakout West and many more. In March 2019 Adrian made his national TV debut appearing on popular Canadian TV show THE LAUNCH, where he garnered rave reviews from living legend Nile Rodgers and pop sensation Bebe Rexha. The appearance marked a new chapter in his career beyond the T&T moniker and fulfilled a promise he made two years ago when he became a father: to do everything possible to show his daughter that gifts are worth honouring and dreams are worth pursuing.
