The Coquitlam Foundation has announced its Spring fundraiser, the "Not Just a 'Beer + Burger' Fundraiser." We've selected that name because the event, from 6-10 p.m. on Tuesday April 21, will be at The Cactus Club, 100 Schoolhouse Street, where attendees will be able to have their choice of a variety of delicious food items -- not just burgers -- plus the always-popular beer or wine selection. Those menu items include your choice of a Feenie Burger and Fries, Butternut Squash Ravioli, Salmon, or Hunter Chicken. Attendees will also be able to bid on silent-auction items and try their luck on a 50/50 draw. Tickets are just $25 and can be obtained by calling Linda Meneghello at 604.790.5385.
