The City of Port Moody invites residents to mark their calendars for the first-ever Port Moody Community Fair at the Civic Centre (100 Newport Drive) on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 11am to 3pm. The Port Moody Community Fair will include free and fun activities for all ages, as well as opportunities to connect with the people, services, and organizations that make Port Moody such an amazing place to live. New and long-time residents alike will find a wealth of information about City and community services, parks and recreation, arts and culture, and public safety. The Community Fair is also a chance to discover volunteer opportunities, clubs, community associations, and more.
Residents are invited to join the celebration, which will feature: · free activities for families, including an inflatable slide, mini train rides, Science World demos, and the Fun GymBus, a kids’ gym on wheels; · free entertainment for the kids, including a face painter · more than 20 booths hosted by community organizations · Port Moody Fire-Rescue booth with fire truck · Port Moody Police booth with police car · City of Port Moody booth – enter to win a summer-fun gift basket!
