For the 11th year in a row the Rotary Club of Port Coquitlam is working with the City of Port Coquitlam to bring you the Rotary May Day Parade. This is one of the longest running community parades onm the Lower Mainland and gives local merchants, businesses and non-profit associations to demonstrate to the local citizens the support services and promote their businesses. The 2014 Rotary May Day Parade was watched by about 12,000 people from Port Coquitlam and around the Lower Mainland and this year the Parade promises to be on of the best ever!. More than 100 floats, marching and pipe bands, decorated vehicles and walking groups will be on hand to entertain you.The Rotary May Day Parade will be led off at 10.30 am by the Vancouver Police Department Precision Motorcycle Group and the Parade will start at 11.00 am. So come to Downtown Port Coquitlam on May 9, 2015 watch the Parade and spend the afternoon in Leigh Square watching the entertainment at the bandshell and visoit the many mercahnts who will make up the Block Party!
