Day 2 of our 3rd Annual Ruben's Throwdown is designed specifically for the CrossFit community and will be the most challenging one to date. Just like in previous years, participants will register as individuals online and we'll make up the mixed teams of four. Participants will find out who their teammates are on the day of the Throwdown providing a unique challenge as they work together to successfully complete each workout. This event has sold out each year and we're hoping to see many returning faces and meet some new athletes from new CrossFit boxes as well. This event really brings the community together like no other event and we're excited to bring it to you all again this year.The goal of this year's event is to raise money to help complete the construction of the school that Ruben's Shoes is currently building in the Dominican Republic. They are currently raising funds to complete this project and our event will ensure their fundraising goal will be achieved. It's important for the school to get the upgrades and expansion necessary so that more kids can attend and graduate each year thus breaking the cycle of poverty and providing them with a bright future.
