You are invited to this beautiful and relaxed artzy time and promise to get you immersed in a little art, little chat and make new friends. Let your creative juices flow, make something with your hands, work with colors, try new skills & techniques, create some Joy for yourself and also for your home.
How would you like to learn how to transform your everyday glass into works of art?
Wine glass art, Mason Jar art, Glass Platter art, Wine bottles & more. There is so much to learn:
- Frosted and transparent glass paint,
- Learn how to mix colors,
- Work with shimmer powder
- layer paints
- learn to steady your hand with liners
- Gold, silver, black or other colors.
Each class will be planned for you to learn 1 or 2 different techniques depending on the project. Preparing the glass, holding techniques, brush and liner angle, how to use motifs & pattern are some additional techniques that will be taught.
Above all come to share some joy and create together.
FAQ: What can/can't I bring to the event?
Materials provided: Glass item to be painted, Colors & liners, brushes and tools, designs & motifs.
Materials to bring: Apron, hair dryer if possible, water or other beverages in a closed container, old or reused paper gift bag with handles to carry artwork home.
Few points to note:
Glass item to be worked on may/may not be different from project to project.
Glass item will have to be baked after 24 hours of drying time. (Instructions will be provided)
You will take completed project home and bake according to instruction
Payments will be taken on Eventbrite
Not more than 6 students per class
