As a member of our business neighborhood, I know you are committed to making our community a better, healthier place. Since 2002, each Shoppers Drug Mart location has participated annually in a community-health celebration called Tree of Life. In our 13th year, the Tree of Life program has raised over $25 million dollars with funds invested back into the communities where it was raised. This year Shaughnessy Shoppers is collaborating with neighboring businesses to host The Shaughnessy Fall Festival on Sunday 19th October 2014.

Shaughnessy Shoppers Drug Mart is steadfast in supporting the health of the Tri-Cities community. This year our store team has chosen Community Volunteer Services for Seniors (CVSS) as our 2014 Tree of Life beneficiary. The CVSS depends on the support of all of us to continue to serve our community and improve the quality of seniors living and welfare in the Tri-Cities.

At this time, I ask you to support our efforts on behalf of Community Volunteer Services for seniors with a donation of $50. This donation will secure a space for your business during the Shaughnessy Fall Festival and will purchase a Red Cardinal icon that we will proudly display in-our store, on our Tree of Life, featuring your company’s name for all our customers to see.

We are hoping to raise $6,000 with your help and support so we ask you to donate 50% of your sale during the festival to the CVSS. We will send a financial statement to share with the participating businesses the total money raised minus any expenses ( if any came up) and the total donated to CVSS.

A Charitable Tax Receipt will be mailed to you, prior to December 31st 2014, in acknowledgement of your gift to our community.
