Rose Shawlee is part of the Richards Buell Sutton Wealth Preservation Group where her practice is primarily focused on assisting families and businesses with their planning, estate, and business needs. She is committed to ensuring that she not only works with the law, but that the law itself works. She is therefore on the Canadian Bar Association BC Branch's committee for Legislation & Law Reform, on its Elder Law Section executive committee, and a course instructor for the new Wills, Estates and Succession Act.
