The Power of Philanthropy

The Power of Philanthropy

January 19, 2021 (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM) (PST)

Description

Beyond technical expertise, what sets you apart as an advisor?

Within an increasingly competitive market why would clients choose your firm to help them make deeply personal and complex decisions about the financial future of their family? It’s simple, trust.

Trust, and strong relationship building skills, are what sets you apart in a crowded sector.

Join us for a free cross-sector, skills sharing workshop to learn how to use "the philanthropic conversation" to deepen relationships with your clients.

While most advisors are confident that they are having the “philanthropic conversation” with their clients, recent studies show that most clients disagree, according to new research from CAGP.

Our expert panelists Paul Nazareth and Pam Prior have honed their skills by diplomatically holding the philanthropic conversation within the financial and philanthropic sectors over the decades. They are happy to share what they have learned in this free professional development workshop.

In this session, you will learn:

  1. How to uncover what makes charitable giving personally meaningful to your clients.
  2. How to strategically use asset-based giving and estate planning to build a plan that maximizes your clients’ philanthropic impact and personal fulfillment.
  3. How that plan will help you retain clients for life and build relationships with the next generation.

Our session will be most valuable to professionals who are consulted for advice on financial and legal manners such as estate lawyers, accountants, financial advisors etc. However, the event is free, and all are welcome to attend.
