In 2004, Tara McIntosh was searching for a little inspiration in her life. A mom to two young boys, she felt there was a need for supportive and uplifting events for women of all ages in her suburb of Port Moody. So she decided to put on the first annual Tri-City Women's Conference at the Inlet Theatre. Her goal was simple: Give women (and men, of course) interesting speakers and innovative products and services for women like her. That first year, Tara singlehandedly organized three speakers, 25 exhibitors, and over 150 participants. It was an overwhelming success.
