ABOUT THE SHOW

Join us for a cocktail-style swing dance with high energy music provided by the 19-piece power-house Big Band – the Bruce James Orchestra - at the beautiful Evergreen Cultural Centre. Performing classics of the Big Band era and beyond, this event will showcase some of Big Band’s greatest hits, and be sure to have you on your feet – dancing the night away!  

ABOUT BRUCE JAMES ORCHESTRA

The Bruce James Orchestra is a 19-piece Big Band based in the Tri-Cities, B.C. Our ensemble has been providing exceptional big band/dance band music in the Vancouver area since 1999. We perform a variety of big band arrangements from the 1920’s swing classics through present day pop and rock hits for events such as dances, weddings, anniversaries, jazz clubs, pubs, fundraisers, corporate events, concerts in the park, and jazz vespers. We are an ensemble which prides itself on excellence in both music and showmanship and are always open to new performance opportunities.
