We are excited to begin our search for the perfect candidates for the position of Food & Beverage Supervisor. This position is seasonal, with part-time and full-time hours. There will be opportunities to work year round for our top employees. The Food & Beverage Supervisor may be scheduled for Banquet Supervisor or Restaurant Shift Leader

At Westwood Plateau Golf, we count on our Food & Beverage staff to interact professionally with our valued customers when they have questions or concerns. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can think on their feet and resolve any issues that come up with our customer-first business mentality. The most successful representatives have the communication and interpersonal skills needed to provide support, answer questions, and problem solve in an efficient manner. He or she will be integral to reinforcing our reputation for above and beyond customer service. All new employees will be trained on health and safety during orientation and expected to retain information on policies and procedures.

While this outline attempts to be all encompassing, this position will evolve beyond these categories. This role is expected to anticipate business needs and to do anything that will help Westwood Plateau Golf accomplish its department objectives.

Banquet Supervisor Duties:

  • Communicate with your team to ensure the day’s reservations are being monitored for special requests and amendments.
  • Prepare the banquet room for the event by turning on lights, background music, opening the curtains and unlocking patio doors.
  • Ensure the event Master of Ceremonies knows the house rules and that the house rules are communicated to all guests.
  • Leading a pre-shift meeting with your team including all special information, times of events and closing duties.
  • Being available to staff for any support needed.
  • Communicate with the kitchen to confirm meal services are on time and answer any questions they may have.
  • Work with your team to complete clean up and re-set for the next day if needed.
  • Complete transactions using our point of sales system.

Restaurant Shift Leader Duties:

  • Communicate with your team to ensure the day’s reservations are being monitored for special requests and amendments.
  • Prepare the restaurant for the day by turning on lights, background music, opening the curtains and unlocking patio doors.
  • Leading a pre-shift meeting with your team including all special information, times of events and closing duties.
  • Being available to staff for any support needed.
  • Communicate with the kitchen to confirm meal services are on time and answer any questions they may have.
  • Work with your team to complete clean up and re-set for the next day if needed.
  • Complete transactions using our point of sales system.

Job Type: Part-time

Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary: $17.75-$18.75 per hour
