Discover the art and beauty of African cuisine and get a glimpse of the Senegal culture & traditions by joining the Société francophone de Maillardville on Sept 27 for a discussion with Rokia Kone, native of Senegal. Mum of 4 wonderful boys, Rokia has mastered the art of cooking and quickly developed a passion for food.

During this session, you will discover the national dish of Senegal called théboudienne, a boldly flavoured combination of fish, rice, and vegetables simmered in tomato sauce is a hearty one-pot meal.

This meeting will take place from 2 to 4 pm at the Maillardville Francophone Center, 942b Brunette Avenue, Coquitlam,BC.
